Says, “America is Back.”
Friday marked President Biden’s first address to the international community as he joined the G7 summit. During his remarks, the president assured the country’s allies that the new foreign policy of his administration would be much less isolationist than the previous administration. “America is back, the transatlantic alliance is back,” said the president.
President Biden continued, “The United States is determined to reengage with Europe, to consult with you, to earn back our position of trusted leadership.” The remainder of his speech focused on the measures his administration would take to reverse the course of the prior administration and begin renegotiating key treaties, including the Iran nuclear deal.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That God would work His plan for the international community through the president’s administration.
- For God’s will to be accomplished in President Biden’s interactions in the international community.
- For the Lord to guide the State Department to build strong allies.
